groups. Primarily focused on opposition to the drilling on Otero Mesa.

scope and preserves and protects water resources for future generations. Water
supply and demand assessments are balanced with various alternatives for
conservation, public welfare, and development. The 16 regional plans have
formed the basis for a state water plan.
NM Water Dialogue Website: http://www.nmwaterdialogue.org Mission: Preserve and protect water resources
for the future through community-based, open, inclusive water planning. Produce
newsletter (Dialogue) three times per year. Offer updates on water-related
legislation. Hold annual statewide meetings on specific issues for water planners.
Assist state water planning efforts to be inclusive and representative of all
interests.
