At the present time, the Water Assembly is actively working on two major projects:  The Water Award supports Recommendation R9-1 of the Regional Water Plan.  The Futures Project supports Recommendation R9-2

The Water Assembly established The Water Award cash prizes in 2007 as an annual inducement for middle and high school students to address water issues in their science fair projects.  

The Futures Project is designed to arouse public awareness and debate by publicizing expert-based images of the future, year 2025, under varied assumptions of political and natural occurrences.
